Rainbow Studio’s Jordon Itkowitz, the lead designer of Deadly Creatures made this Wii title in an attempt to appeal to both a hardcore and casual crowd. The game is due in February and features a tarantula and a scorpion as its main protagonists.

Jordon is desperate that his hardcore games should sell on Wii. If it flops, it would mean that he would have to go back to minigames. Itkowitz said to MTV’ Multiplayer blog that “I hope people vote with their dollars in February so we can make some more.” This statement thus, also shows the state of the current of the Wii software market.
