The selling of a fitness item is followed by a strategy and marketing methods. The same strategy has been seen behind the trailer for EA Sports Active. This trailer announces the release in May 2009 and will be on the TV in the late-night Paid Programming television block.

The trailer features Opera fitness guru Bob Greene in which the date of release of EA Sports Active has been declared. Bob Greene has demonstrates the title in the same way as Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkley of\r Fitness Celebrity John Basedow have been doing. EA Sports Active votes as a westernized version of Wii Fit with more vigorous workouts and customized exercise routines.
