Capcom’s Monster Hunter 3 was previously announced for the PS3 then Capcom changed its mind and announced it on Wii and was reportedly going to a Nintendo console exclusive. However, in last few days, there were rumors that Monster Hunter 3 (tri-) may go beyond the Wii and into the hands of PSP which had hosted the last title of Capcom.

After this news, Capcom updated its official site immediately where it has denied that they have not said anything of parting away from Wii as the platform for their game. This they confirmed as rumor and they further updated their site after a few hours wherein they have announced that the new edition of the Monster Hunter series: Monster Hunter 3 (tri-) is exclusively for Nintendo Wii.
