If you buy Wii, you will probably get a workout while you play. Everyone remembers the iconic images of older CEOs playing an actual video game in front of huge crowds live. This stuff just doesn't usually happen as most games are too boring to watch or are too difficult to learn quickly.
Nintendo has completely changed this as the Wii remote allows you to act as if you were actually doing the actual actions. For example, Wii Sports lets you swing a tennis raquet, but people tend to really swing like its real life. This leads to a workout or a broken television depending on how strong your strap was. Local news broadcasters started playing the Nintendo Wii in front of millions of viewers which caused a flurry of people to buy Wii.
The only problem now is that you can't buy Wii because it's out of stock. The problem is going to get worse because Nintendo just released Wii Fit in Japan which will soon arrive in the good ole USA late december. This is a platform where you now get a workout from your feet as well.
This will take the Nintendo Wii onto a whole new level. Most people who buy Wii are already casual gamers who like the fact that you have to move to play the Wii. Wii Fit will enter the fitness market which is a multi billion dollar market.
We expect it will be even harder to buy Wii for longer than we thought when the Wii Fit comes out. Just make sure you get some rest when your thighs are sore like you've been skiing all day.
