A big issue that has been brought up is whether Nintendo Wii will be able to sell games that are intensive and take a lot of time to develop. Some examples include Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure. This game is very epic and very highly reviewed, but it only sold 30,000 copies in the first four days. Then to make it worse it only added 15,000 a week later.

This is kinda strange because there are 3.7 million Wiis in the United States. It also didn't do well in Japan where it is called Takarajima Z: Barbaros no Hihou. It also had a great combination of characters, visuals, and action that should have made it a great game for the masses.

This is a big problem for the Nintendo Wii as many large game developers will consider NOT developing for the Wii because of recent performances by games like Zack and Wiki.
