If you are Canadian and your BMI is showing some really weird result in Wii Fit, then it means you have made an error because of an unfamiliar measurement system. Wii Fit, in US, uses the imperial measurements common there even your location of Wii being Canada.

This will most probably create some amount of confusion for people who did not notice this difference. It also would have annoyed a lot of people who did take notice and had to convert their height and weight measurements according to US system. Setting the language either to Spanish or French may help but noticeable complications follow.

Grand Theft Auto IV continues to beat stiff competition all round Europe like the PS3 or Xbox 360 edition this week by acquiring top spots everywhere. Following it are Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii, which is the favourite of Game Night.  However, it seems like no copy of Mario Kart is available in UK.

While down below in the charts, Boom Blox has made an impact in its second week on sale climbing from 40th spot to 19th in the UK.  Super Mario Galaxy and  Guitar Hero III also entered the top ten countdown in Holland and Sweden. Though there has been no news on the Irish front, Grand Theft Auto IV would probably have been a hit there as well.

Why don’t we have gaming culture in the U.S.? This question is raised by many game players. The fact is, never did the Japanese computer systems got a hold of it in U.S. We have not seen sequels to most of the popular games.

Here are some examples. After the great success of Metal Gear in 2006, it has not been popular today because no sequel has been released. Similar thing happened with the X68000 Castlevania, Falcom's Ys and many more. This may due to the lack of support for the PC-8801 outside Japan. Hence we didn’t even get the sequel of Super Mario Bros.

The reason was becoming the richest is very simple. All the wealth that has increased is because of Nintendo's recent success with the Wii and DS.
